Hi guppies,
Anytime, I wear chapstick, lipgloss or lipstick, after only a few hours I get a white film on my lips (mostly in the corners and the middle part of the lips where they press together). It’s annoying because then I have to wipe it off with a napkin and reapply everything…lip balm, lipstick etc.
I have tried using the Body Shop exfoliator in the past, even tried exfoliating with a tooth brush but nothing seems to work. Can this be cured? What should I do? Any advice would help…thanks!

its natural u cant stop it. u put moisturizer skin gets plump dead skin comes off. natural process.
dont fret. i have same problem and i think many ppl have.
if i use alot of lip balm or gloss a thick white film appears. so i jst put a little bit of lip balm jst to keep my lips moisturized. so try using less balm.
this problem cant be solved but can be controlled 
Exfoliate.. 2-3 times a week.. at night apply glycerine and lemon juice (equal quantities)

i exfolite like every morning but still i get that film everytime i put on balm or any gloss.
wats the story of lemon juice and glecerine? how does that help?
Keeps them soft.. lemon is a mild exfoliant as well.
Remember not to lick u're lips.. that dries-them furthur..

I think it may also be dehydration? I've heard this happens if you don't drink enough water. I drink only 4-5 glasses a day.

its coz you put too much chapstick/lip balm that it makes the top layer of skin too soft and soggy. Apply only with one stroke.

ive noticed dat the white stuff is sumtimes foundation! i wear mineral make up so dust dat over face n a lil gets on my lips...and i wore gloss ova it and it forms nasty white stuf but then i tried again n made sure foundation neva got on my lips it was fine...!!
