Hi Ceylen,
I think I have the same idea as you, for the civil I will be wearing a white pishwas..havent bought it yet..but my MIL will be getting it for me InshaAllah..On the threads and motifs website they have some really pretty stuff on there chk it out!!

Ok I will... I think it's nice to have a traditional white dress at a gora wedding. But still don't know what kind of dress it should be; Sari, Pishwas or Shalwar Kameez.

Is this for a gora wedding your attending or for your own wedding?? I think its a lovely idea to incorporate both the cultures if it is mixed wedding! They will all loovee your dress! But if your just attending the western wedding, won’t the bride and her bridesmaids have a problem with someone else showing up in white? :S lol

I think a white lehnga with a long shirt and silver work will look beautiful or long peshwas!

mahi is it civil marriage or indian film,so private husband n wife exposing to everyone not fit for our society i wish i attend any marriage in ur family n ceylon i admire ur comments.
