Boycott is blaming 'too much international cricket" for his breakdown BUT excuse me I thought Tresco opted out of a lot of cricket lately. So, that's not a valid excuse. I think he is in 'depression' which can be caused by a lot other factors other than 'too much cricket'.

His marriage is in danger since late last year. He cannot concerntrate in cricket and that is why Duncan wanted him to go back and sort things out in his life, since he would only be a burden on team if he is not mentally ready for big games.

His leaving will certainly dent England's Ashes campaign. Joyce, the replacement is a huge role of the dice, though gifted, he is definitely inexperienced.
