Gayle has always been a destructive player....if he`s fired up no one can stop him. They also have Sarwan, Chanderpaul and Bravo..all 3 are quality players...plus Barath has also impressed.
But more importantly, they probably have the fastest bowler in the world at the moment in Roach...with Lee out of the game, Bond and Akhter injured, no one else has the pace of Roach...and a bowling lineup consisting of Roach, Fidel Edwards who is also pretty fast along with Jerome Taylor, Benn and Bravo...the Windies would definately have one of the fastest bowling attacks in the world....
Whether they can replicate the Windies of the 80s and 90s remains to be seen...but they definately have a quality attack...if all of them are fit and playing.
