The hell continues to be unleashed on lot of poor in Pakistan and most often on those who least deserve it.

**انسانی حقوق کی تنظیم کا کہنا ہے کہ پاکستان میں بچوں سے زیادتی، ان کے اغوا اور تشدد کا نشانہ بنائے جانے کے واقعات میں اضافہ ہوا ہے۔ **
انسانی حقوق کی تنظیم کی رپورٹ کے مطابق سنہ دو ہزار چھ کے مقابلے میں ایسے واقعات دُگنے ہو گئے ہیں۔
رپورٹ کے مطابق سنہ دو ہزار چھ میں ان واقعات کی تعداد چھ سو سترہ تھی جبکہ سنہ دو ہزار سات میں تقریباً سولہ سو واقعات پیش آئے۔ رپورٹ میں یہ بھی کہا گیا ہے کہ قانون کا نفاذ نہ ہونا اور معاشرتی رویہ اس قسم کے واقعات میں اضافے کے ذمہ دار ہیں۔
واضح رہے کہ پاکستان بچوں کی مشرق وسطیٰ سمگلنگ کا اہم راستہ ہے۔
’لائرز فار ہیومن رائٹس اینڈ لیگل ایڈ‘ کے سربراہ ضیاء اعوان کا کہنا ہے کہ اس زمیندارانہ معاشرے میں عورتوں کی طرح بچوں کو بھی ذاتی ملکیت سمجھا جاتا ہے‘۔
اعوان کا کہنا ہے کہ بچوں کے ساتھ بدسلوکی کے واقعات میں اضافہ ہونے کی وجہ یہ ہے کہ قانون نافذ کرنے والے اس کو اہمیت نہیں دیتے۔
ان کا کہنا ہے کہ’یہ پوری تصویر کا ایک چھوٹا سا حصہ ہے کیونکہ اسی فیصد واقعات کی رپورٹ ہی نہیں کی جاتی۔‘
خیال ہے کہ حکومتی بے حسی کی وجہ سے اغوا ہوئے بچوں کے والدین پولیس کی بجائے خود ہی اغوا کاروں سے سمجھوتا کر لیتے ہیں۔ اس کے علاوہ بچوں کے ساتھ جنسی تشدد کو بھی رپورٹ کرنا معاشرتی طور پر برا سمجھا جاتا ہے۔ [/urdu]

It is a disgrace that Pakistani people can do this to children. At least in the West, apart from isolated cases, people do not treat children like animals.

This is exactly WHY we are aginst Mush, and want the CJ brought back… Such scenes will never disappear until there is political stability, accountability, and justice.This will never be achieved until dictatrship is put down and the rights of Pakistani people are respected.

You mean like Ahmadis? Minorities and children like the ones in above article are treated abysmally in Pakistan. I can't see it ever changing no matter who is in power. Hate is inbred amongst many Pakistanis.

This is so sad...Allah in sab ki madad kare - when i went to Pakistan this summer i had never seen so many underprivileged people on the roads of karachi which i saw in those three months; It was a sad sight indeed (thanks to Musharaf). Karachi too looked like it was a dump yard again thanks to Musharaf.. i really dont know which growth and advancements are these MQM walas blowing horns about :S poor kids eating from trash thrown? or even feeling happy to get jhooota to eat or the Bombs which are showered on them? it has all happened under Musharafs regime but some people like to stay in their lala land.

Although Musharraf should have done more on Ahmadi issue, since his family members are part of It too. But he couldnt change things either. Thanks to Zia era.
