I like Pakistani Pop Music over Indian Music.. because.. I just hate Indian films.. 
sorry i would have to go with indian film music, there are a few that i really like then there are others that are dumb, but Pakistani pop i cannot stand.

Pakistani pop is a bit of a mixed bag.I think Junoon is the best band to come from Pakistan.Hadiqa Kiyani is good(cute 2)!
The others are so so.
Indian music is good and overall it is better than Pakistani music.Not because of a lack of talent with the Pakistani music scene,but a lack of proper production,voice training,and sponsorship to encourage ppl to get into the field.
Pakistani songs these days are way better! then Indian movies. . .if you have noticed Indians are now copying all of Pakistani Songs . . .I’d have to say that the new bands and artists are doing really good in Pakisatn and their songs are much better compared to Indian. the last indian movie with good songs was “Dil walay dulhania lay jayen gay” after that all of them suck! The only songs I like are from the movie Khamoshee. Thats all

Second people only like Indian songs because they have a movie in it.. and a pretty actress or actor sings it that they like..
look how cheap Indian songs are that Biwi no.1 song.. that song makes no sence.. what a waste. And they make too much junk songs. It's true..
Pakistani songs like Junoon make songs sound "sensible", pride towards your country, and just sound better with better base. not like Meri Biwi no.1 (? huh..).
And Indian songs are dumb, because they have duets.. a old lady singing with a old man. Indian songs never get reconized by their true author's like those old people that sing it. Those actors and actress who sings it in the movie gets the credit.
Seriously, Indian songs are messed up like their movies.. talk so fast, immature, singing like 7 songs(WHO EVER SINGS in real life).
I made my friends listen to both Indian songs, and Pakistani Pop and they just laughed at Indian Songs because who ever sings duets these days!!??? But they thought Pakistani Pop was very good because it was just like every other country. Meaning if you go to a country mostly every country has pop songs, but India is odd though..
Stick with your Pakistani Music or Pakistani Drama's, oh Indian Pop is very good though.

You are comparing the worst of Indian film music with the best of Pakistani pop. Beyond doubt "junoon" is top class. "Biwi No: 1" and "haseena man jayegi"(the new one) have songs whose lyrics make you wanna cry out in despair. But then, what about all the other Indian film songs? What about "aashiqui" (my fav.) or "Quayamat sae quayamat tak"? What about the old melodies by Rafi, Mukesh and Kishore Kumar? Check out songs from "sarfarosh",the lyrics are real nice.

The current Indian songs are not as good as the old ones. The old songs are still very popular as compared to the new ones. Indian songs versus Pakistani pop, both are good, depends which particular ones you are talking about. I feel that currently songs from the indian film Taal are very good. It is a matter of ones own taste. Pakistani pop is definitely very good.

its all good. indian film...paki pop. you got ur filmi songs and your abrar, janoon, shehzad, ali,..etc..and of course the backstreet boys...who can complain? music is great!
Pakistani pop music is a lot better than Indian pop and likewise the Indian filmi music is a lot better than the Pakistani filmi music.
The reason most people seems to like Indian music is because all they hear on the radio/TV is Indian music (that's the case in UK anyway).
But overall Pakistani music is better - who can match Noor Jehan, Mehdi Hassan, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Vital Signs, Awaz, Junoon, Ali Haider etc etc etc

I have lots of CD's lying in my room
and Some indians come to my room because I got da bomb system
so we had few GORA musician guys there too
They just crack up at indian music!@
magar they always come and ask me to put on junoon
and they think JUNOON's bass are more tasteful than big english rock bands!
