Arabic or Farsi?

I would think Farsi would be easier.

I would say that it would be Arabic. Urdu and Arabic have almost similar alphabets, also since majority of the Pakistanis are Muslims, they probably studiedthe Koran in Arabic...

Farsi. The vocab is very similiar.

Indian Urdu Speaker = Farsi

Pakistani Urdu Speaker = Arabic

From what I've noticed our Urdu has a lot of Arabic derived words whereas the elegant north Indian Urdu has more Farsi ones.
