My dad told me when i live in Pakistn that Mecca is where sun sets, so always pray towards west. Comments plz
he's not wrong, but Pakistan is spread vertically. So when you move North in Pakistan, you'll have to pray to the West.. correct! But also a little bit aimed to the south.

I don't think its a religious question. Its more of a geographical one. Over here in United states, people normaly pray at about 45-55 degrees Northeast as it is shortest path to Mecca.
May be in UK, you may have to pray 70 or 80 degrees South East. but I am not sure about that.
It all depends where you are and what would be the shortest path to Mecca.

Its even a bigger Gunnah to not offer you prayers then offering your prayers in a wrong direction. If you don't know which way to pray then just pray in the direction you feel more satisfied and ask Allah for Hidayat.
Go to IslamicFinder.net and go to the prayer time section. The prayer time page is invoked after you have selected your contry/city and this page also gives you the Qibla direction.

Pray anywhere and any direction you'd like and talk any way you can. God does not care how you talk to him or what position you're in when you pray, for he is not of this world. He cares not of the rituals you might want to perform, and does not want you to become religious. "Seek not in religion, but in me" He said.
I don't really know why Mohammad thinks that excess rules are neccessary.

i suggest u carry a Qiblaa Numaa (compass which elps u find the direction of Qibla) with u all the time...
if you pray in oppsite direction using non-arabic laguage god does nto get you messsage?
