scare the hell out of you.for me its zombies and any supernatural things..i am not scared of any serial killer or psycho sort of movies .plus we can share the MOST HORROR MOVIE Posters HERE too:hmmm:

the way they pop out of nowhere during a suspenseful scene is scary at the moment

OOOOH, way to go Swan Princess!!!!!!!!! I LOVE this thread. Here are my list of what scares the frickin crap outa me or Annoys me in scary movies.
1) Mirrors. It's scary to be looking at a mirror and then SUDDENLY there is a reflection RIGHT BEHIND YOU! Or even a reflection in a lake. Or your car's rearview mirror.
2) Dark rooms. Okay......this doesn't scare me much BUT i find it ANNOYING. Take the movie, The Ring, for instance. During the evening, the rooms in the movie were all dark. It was as if the main characters are trying to lower their electricity bill or something. Seriously, if the light works.........TURN IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why are you roaming around a dark house (your own house) at only 7-8 in the night? Sheesh!
3) Confessing. Okay this is another thing that drives me up the wall. You know what I mean. The girlfriend find out her boyfriend is a SERIAL KILLER.......so she goes up to her boyfriend and CONFESSES that she KNOWS he's a SERIAL KILLER. Seriously, why do they do that? That's the DUMBEST thing to do! Cuz **now **your boyfriend is gonna kill you tooo! It's much smarter to act as NORMAL as possible and when you get the chance......move to Canada and change your name!
4) Lullabies. Am I the only one that thinks lullabies are scary? Seriously, they're creepy. That soft soothing music or nursery rhyme that's supposed to calm a baby.....is just Eeerie. Example: the movie, Rosemary's Baby. That "soothing" music just creates a feeling of DREAD and an impending act of HORROR is soon about to occur. Actually music/songs are a** POWERFUL** tool in horror movies.....cuz then you leave the theater with the song/tune stuck in your head.
5) Imagination. In my opinion, over-the-top scary moves are NOT scary. All that stuff about monsters running around with a fake bloddy mask and chain-saws is over the top and seems fake. The REAL SCARY movies are the ones that leave things to your imagination. And everyone knows that your imagination can play tricks on you. So scary movies that don't rely heavily on bloody makeup and exaggerated masks....and instead choose to leave things to your imagination are on the RIGHT TRACK!
6) Jinns and monsters don't scare me as much as FEMALE malevolent spirits. I don't know why BUT i've always found CHURAILS (female jinns) MORE FRIGHTENING than MALE JINNS/GHOSTS/SPIRITS etc.
7) I find movies about exorcism, possession of the devil, and black magic/voodo very fascinating. My favorite horror movie is THE OMEN. Released only a couple years after the Exorcist, I like it better than the latter. I also like movies about past horror legends that involve history.....Bloody Marry!
8) Johnny Depp......my favorite actor. I really enjoyed Sweeny Todd....story of a fugitive and a cook selling meat pies made from human flesh. To take a horrible story and turn it into a musical............fantastically creepy!
9) Supsense.......movies about a mother/spouse hiding a bone-chilling sercret that comes to light after a series of bizarre incidents.......also makes for a good horror movie.
