Which sura or dua...

should we read when we are worried… pareshaan… jaab dil bohat baychain ho…when you feel very desperate..

Quran says:

Quran 13:28
*Who have believed and whose hearts have rest in the remembrance of Allah. Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest! *

so its not just any sura or dua....
just remember Allah....

and also it is said....
Quran 2:155-156
Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere,
Who say, when afflicted with calamity: "To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return"

which indicates that the duaa to be read is "inna lillahe wa inna ilayhi raji'oon"....

wallahu aalam....

Re: Which sura or dua…

Aayat-ul-Qursi should be recited if ur dil is perishaan…
there are numerous duas for different occasions…

moreover Surah Fatiha is often recited on different ocassions…for DUA purposes… :flower1:

Journey of faith...

Wrong spot...Sorry...

You could read these du'a they are from pyari rasool ki pyari du'a:'

or this:

ghamgien kie du'a: hadrat abu bakr raziAllah si rawajat hai ki rasoel salam ni farmaja ki ghamgien ji du'a parhin:

allahoema rahmataka arjoefala takilni ila nafsie tarfata einiewa aslieh lie sha'nie koellahoe la ilaha illa anta.

(ielahi! mi aap kie rehmat ka oemied waar hoen moejhi ik lahzi ki lie yi bhi miri nafs ki sapoerd na kar (ja'nie apnie dast gierie ka haath miri sar si na oetha) or mirie haalat bielkol droest kar di aap ki siewa koi ma'boed nahi)

This is a hadith, taken from the Dutch translation of "Riyaad as_Saalihien" of Imam an_Nawawie, it's in the chapter of SAbr, the 21st hadith:

Anas narrates that theMessenger of Allah said: "When Allah has decided the good for his servant He quickens a punishment for him in this world; and when He has decided the bad for him, He doesn't hasten to punish His servant in this world, but waits for the Judgement Day to call him to answer for his deeds."The Prophet (pbuh) also said: "The extend of the reward dpeends on the extend of the ordeal; and when Allah the Majestic loves a people, He tests them. For him who passes the test optimistically there is the pleasure of Allah; for him who is unhappy with it, there is the unhappiness of Allah. "

We must recite Quran daily, Pray at least 5 times Namaz…and do best what we can! leave every thing to Allah…He don’t do BAD to us, always ‘Allah aap ka shukar hay’…
some times we are being tested and the key to success is to say ‘Allahm du lillah’
