meri mushkil asaan karo!
I am a bit double minded as to what kind of jewelry i should wear with my barat jora!
It’s a blood-red/maroon with golden work everywhere on it … it’s under-construction, so i cant post any pics … and the gold-work is not dull … very traditional work … no diamontees or anything … let’s say … bunto being absolutely unaffordable, i’ve tried to (well my mother has tried to) get something which follows similar lines/work of traditionalism … so you may for your benefit imagine a not-so-heavy red bunto bridal ..

now …

i am in love with this teeka vinni is wearing …

and this style of jewelry …

but this kind of jewelry looks great with the kind of dress i am getting, and it’s also quite popular …

which style do you prefer?

now … how can i mix the jewelry up so that i can wear vinnie wala teeka … waisay will white beaded jewelry go with a fully red/golden dress?

i want to wear a neck-piece in conjunction with a 5/7-lara or a rani haar … like so …

i really like the orange bride’s jewelry … but i am a bit skeptical if it’ll entirely go with my dress. what do you think?
i LOVE white bead stuff … how can i make it work with my super dark/traditional dress?

would it look fine if i wear the vinnie wala teeka, and a similar style of raani-haar/5-7-lara + jhoomar … and wear the neckpiece and earrings of one of the two styles posted above?
i also want to wear a nose ring … … the string of which could match that of the neckpiece then … say what?

i cant keep the white beads for valima becuz i am wearing a diamond-like set …

big difference , well there r 2 main differences

polki is real uncut diamonds. kundan is cut glass (well real kundan is uncut but now a days its just glass)
kundan in much much cheaper than polki, a bridal kundan set wont cost u more than 3 laak
a polki one will clost u a good 5 laak n up depending on if u choose a heavy one…
polki sets honestly look STUNNNING when light shines on them n they sparkelt like CRAZY cause they r diamonds after all…
so all depend son yur budget

yea art karat stuff looks freaking pretty! unfortunately it doesnt have anything bridal enough for my liking ... their stuff is really nice for regular party wear ..

Check out the post marigoldsandmithai.blogspot.com just did on a wedding in lahore. The bride in that is wearing a red/maroon top with a 5 lara haar and a tikka that looks kind of like Vinni's. I think it looks amazing!
