for me:
Football: SerieA, Primera Division, Premiership, Dutch Eredivisie, Champion’s League, World Cup, European Cup
Formula 1
Tennis: the 4 grand slams
Cycling: Tour de France
Snooker: embassy world championship
Darts: embassy

Soccer(football) - whatever I get it on cable - used to follow a lot.
American Football - Every Sunday and Monday Night Football games.
Basketball - every now and then - and playoffs
Baseball - whatever I get on available channels and playoffs.

Tennis: Grandslams and Masters
Field Hockey: Champions trophy and Olympics
Squash: Major opens:
Basket Ball: Play-offs
Table Tennis (occassionally)
Golf: Majors (occassionally)

Baseball ... Usually follow SF Giants. Post-season is thus, practically, tensionfree :-D
Football ... SF 49ers. And since they suck so bad, therefore saves a lot of time.
Tennis ... Grandslams only
Golf ... Majors only, with certain exceptions.
Hockey ... Only if Pak is playing, and has a chance.

NeSCio, do you know there is a football (yes American) team in Holland as well. Im sure you must have at least heard of them.

Basketball- NCAA
Formula 1
Tennis
Rugby Union and league
NHL- Ice Hockey
baseball- off and on
nfl - off and on
cricket- occassionally
field hockey- rarely

Footbaall- NFL, Sundays and Mondays during Fall & college sometimes
Basketball- Playoffs
Baseball- playoffs
Cricket- World cup and India Pakistan Series

Cricket - Domestic and internationals'.
Football - Domestic And Internationals'. Big magpies fan, n.u.f.c 4eva.
Snooker - Follow All tournaments, big Stephen Hendry fan.
Hockey - Pakistan matches only, Whenever they play.
Tennis - All tournaments and the majors ofcourse.
Darts - Now and then.
Formula 1 - Now am more into it, since it isn't a 1 horse race no more.
Rugby - Internationals only.

In descending order:
Baseball - Mostly the Blue Jays, thus inevitibily Yankees and Red Sox aswell
Basketball - Mostly the Raptors, and the playoffs if i feel like it
Hockey(Ice) - Exclusively the Maple Leafs and their playoff games
Soccer - Whatever premiership games i can catch on the weekends (preferably Chealsea, Liverpool etc) and on rare occasions champions league games aswell (and obviously major tournaments such as World Cup & Euro Cup)
Football(American) - Mostly the Bills and occasionally MNF if both teams are good
Cricket - Whatever action i can catch on my satellite TV but definitely Pakistan is the prefrence
NCAA Basketball - Only the March Madness and most definitely Final Four
Tennis - US open and occasionaly Wimbledon since other majors are hard to catch here
Formula One - Whenever NBC feels like showing it once in a bluemoon
