Which PTV center was better ?

A hotel counter is enough to draw similarities b/w two?

I think Karachi centre provided good entertainment (dramas +comedy shows + documentaries etc) throughout 80s and 90s.

Lahore dramas were high on intellect may be but were boring too. I would snore during a serial from Lahore. Long plays were definetely Lahore’s speciality, I like the. Also the kids’ stuff like hatim tai and others. And who can forget the Nishane Haider series:Salute:

So it will be tie b/w Karachi and Lahore due to their excellence in different programming areas.

Not just hotel counter, but lots of other similarities.

"My naam es Rhambu, Jahn Rhambo. Cakroch killer"

I dont know for you guys, but I grew up in urban Pakistan mostly, and I could relate to the Karachi dramas, their dialogues, situations, the issues and all. Dramas like Dhoop Kinarey, Ankahi, Tanhaiyaan....God, they really elevated the soul to nirvana....and were made so tastefully.

And yeah, Guest House was hilarious. Specially the first episode it was so wonderful.

Just to mention the historical fact that most of the super classic action thrillers from Quetta centre were directed by and techncially assisted by KTV folks.

I don't know how far that's true, but Quetta stuff was either very good or plain unwatchable.
