Namak Mandi for food
Khyber Bazaar for shopping

Khyberpass
University/jamrud road for shopping too
Sardaryaab for yummy fish
Charsi tikkas are must from namak mandi
chapli kababs from namak mandi

oh and if you are architecture-friendly then visit islamia college and qissa khwaani bazaar
