Which Place is Better to Live

Re: Which Place is Better to Live

Zarif

I am in the US and have evaluated canada as a potential move in the past. If I were running my own business, I may have because health care and child benefits are kinds nice. The economy and opportunities in general are very lacking.

There is way too much going on in US and in general there are more and better opportunities.

In US if you lose your job and cant find anything you would be in a real jam if you get sick bcause you will not have insurance (unless u get it on your own or go for your former employers COBRA benefits), but the hope is that you will find a job sooner than u will in canada because of more opportunities in general.

Re: Which Place is Better to Live

Quality of life is better in india if you have money and is very secured then in USA

Indian Education is always better and it has been agreed by americans too
whenever bush talks about outsourcing he praises our education system :)

Re: Which Place is Better to Live

It depends on what your definition of quality of life is, by your definition it may be, by mine it is not.

and I agree with W on this one..indian education is very good in preparing ppl to take on call center jobs, no doubt about it.

Kidding aside, while IIT and IIm type institutions are very good, Indian universities are not doign the type of work being done in US…on avg the unis here are better, the top unis here are better than top unis there, avg unis are better than avg uis there and crappy unis here are better than crappy unis there.

anyways the topic was comparing US, canada and Pakistan. why drag in countries that the initial post is not even addressing, soons omeone will drag in Monaco or burkina faso..

lets stay on the topic which is which country is better for Zarifs personal circumstances.
