I am "planning" to get bridal/Baraat done from Madeeha (at Madeehas)
and the Walima one from Shehzad Raza (from Ather Shehzad)
what do you say?? Any suggestions??
My cousins in Lahore are "insisting" that Mightee/Mighty's make-up is so fabulous these days...

yeah, I can imagine what you are going through these days. I felt the same when I had to make a decision. I personally chose Annie and did not regret it later on. She is much cheaper as compare to Athar shehzad and what I have heard of them is the fact: That the models look good but the brides just look so so, only their snaps are outclass.
Madeehas do pemper a lot which Annie does not do at all. So if you wanna have a red carpet treatment, book madeeha. I think she is good too.

i had annie's signature package i was completly statisfied she did an awesome job i had her both for shaadi and valima...i would recommened to choose annie for shaadi and choose madeehas for valima....my cousin got ready for madeehas she had a white dress adn htey did a really good job she looked stunning...

..i had brought my own makeup(serious suggestion for all brides to be)..and instead of letting her do whatever..i told her exactly what i wanted..(no base..dramatic eyes without the scary shadow..min blush..and lipstick)..it worked..and it cost me a mere Rs15000!
u know what iam thinking of doing the same taking my own makeup and applicators but the thing iam scared of is that iam not sure how the'r gonna treat it i dont want them to ruin my makeup how was urs how did they do it do they mess up with personal makeup....

^ from what i have observed and seen of Ather shehzad's bride is that they luk good only in photography since he does |model| make-up and not bridal make-up. My sister got her make-up done from him both days and ended up lukin not that good but her pix came out pretty nice :). So take yr pick :P

all 3 look good, the bride in the last pic looks very pretty but doesnt look like the same girl as she did before. i dont think id want to look like someone else on my wedding.

I think Madiha's would be better choice cuz my Bhabhi got her makeup done by Madiha's and she was looking MashaAllah! beautiful...........
The opinion on best beautician can be different from person to person and I think luck plays a major part aswell. Hum to apne hi tajurbe se bata sakte hain. Although Annie was not very polite and did not do the whole makeup, I was still very statisfied in the end and would recommend Annie again and again. Whereas Madeehas Athar Shehzad can be good too. People who are getting married and gaining info here: Aap log jitni opinions parhoge utna confuse hoge (aisa main hua karti thii) Pehle main Annie ko done karti, phir koi likha madeehas achi hai, so again full confusion.
But then I made a decision and sticked to that, and this really helped. So now you all know there are many good beauticians so take a deep breath and make ur decision and go for the booking. Insha Allah sab theek hoga.

i'm getting married in august and have been reading these threads non stop for recommendations and advice. and ur absolutely right, i just keep getting confused with everyones individual opinions to the point that i think i cant make up my mind anymore.

confuse nahin ho yaar. Yeh is thread ki intention thori hai bhala. We wanted to find out who is best in market. So here is what people say:
Alle Nora, Madeehas and Athar Shehzad. So go to one of them or may be to two of them and you will be statisfied I am sure- Prices are more or less the same. Madeehas is a bit cheaper.

awww you're so sweet. i think im going to sabs for the baraat since its in khi and ive heard positive reviews from everyone about tayyaba, and meelee's for the valima in isb. btw, dont know if this is true but i read on one of the threads, that girls get videotaped in sabs while getting waxed?!?

yaar hadd hi hogayi hai wese, kahin banda pk main safe bhi hai? I have not heard about that but who knows? Ab is tarah sochne lage to ho chuka kaam, I guess ache parlour ya famous parlour apni reputation ki bohat care karte hain aur aisa kuch nahin karte hunge, so Allah ka naam le ke chali jana.
By the way shadi kahan ho rahi hai? HUm samjhe aap ki shadi Lahore main hai, tabhi sab ne lahore ke best beauticians ka bataya hai.

I'm getting married in Karachi in mid august and the valima will be in islamabad. The guy im getting married to just came back from islamabad today after doing all the valima prep and said they are booking meelee's for the bridal makeup cuz all the women in his house swear by it. They went to Sobia Nazir for a bridal dress... prices were ridiculous, he said he only liked one dress and it was 5 lakh and the cheapest bridal dress she had was for 2.5 lakh. anyhoo... he got me these bridal magazines, and just wanted to let you know saima, that there were pics of brides from allenora, they were really veryy pretty.

meri shadi to pichle saal Oct main hogayi hai:) Mere wedding dress Hasan sheharyaar ka aur waleeme ka karma ka thaa. I liked both of them. Par yaar pk main mehengayi bohat hogayi hai and designer are really smugglers....
