Hi mili,
mera matlab hai ke agar aap signature package book nahin karte to aap ko Annie ki assistant tayar karti hain and Annie does not pay attention to you at all. Assistant bura makeup nahin karti, but there is no match with Annie.
Jesa abhi aik behan ne kaha ke Annie ne do dafa lifstick change karayi, tab ja ke kahin satisfied hui, agar assistant khud hoti to aap pehli lagayi hui lipstick pe hi ittifaaq karte. Aur jin dinon main meri wahan booking thi wo high season thaa aur rooz ki wahan 80 brides tayar ho rahi thin, I think that is why Annie was being so rude. Otherwise she is a good lady.
So signature package means Annie makeup main role play karti hai (Ab meri kismat ke wo sirf eyemakeup hi karne lagi:)

yeah ... I am thinking about Madeehas for shaadi and Depilux for valima. It sucks that they dont give their rates on the phone. oh well ... I hope it all looks good together. Getting excited!

so madeeha's photo package only includes 29 pics? Thats not too good. What about shahnawaZ? that was the good photographer, right? How much does he charge? What does the package look like? Do you have any contact info? Help would be GREATLY appreciated :)

It's so unfortunate that ppl who have talent are also the nastiest, most ill-mannered people who have no respect for anyone else...judging by past posts on certain subjects.

hey saima...firstly congrats :D...secondaly i agree with u, lol! getting her signature line is worth it cuz she'z realy good at it BUT that is not fair that she only does eye-makeup but wat can u say..when somebody is talented they misuse it :(...we had our bhabhi's make-up done from her and she did all her make-up herself cuz i was pretty much on her head when n if she at all left the make-up room...but ya she gets dry at times i remember when she was setting up her dupatta i told her this is not the way the dupatta is suppose 2 be n she goes i have been in the business for 2 long n also do designing so i know how it shud be....so i got kinda pissed cuz mehdi had told me how exactly 2 get the dupatta set but she was nt willing 2 have it that way saying oh that wont luk good n all...we didnt have the kind of time 2 waste on the argument so i let her do watever she wanted...than at the wedding mehdi was upset at me lol for not getting the duppatta properly set as he felt and rightly so that havin the dupatta set the wrong way can change the whole concept of it...lol but ya he was so sweet he went on stage to fix the dupatta and everything was fine than.
Btw, i met annie couple of months back at a jewellery shop and i was stunned cuz she recognized me and waved at me-lol!.

Also, i forgot to mention how i got lucky and had my party make-up done my annie herself where as i just paid normal for it. What happened was that it was my sister's and i had neva used make-up before...so i was all excited for the wedding and wanted 2 experiment with make-up so i decided doin it myself wudnt work cuz i knew nothin so i went along with my family for make-up. Unfortunately annie's mother had died couple of days back during that time n poor her was still at her parlour cuz all those mean workers of her took advantage of her missing from parlour for few days and went for holidays-lol. So she was in full charge and helpin around since there were fewer girls out there. I felt really bad for her cuz her eyes were swollen n her face was all red from crying but she was doin make-up :(. But ya what she did was truly amazing...i mean that day many from my family got their make-up done from their parlour but i luked the best (lol!) and i believe it was cuz of annie. She is truly amazing at her work. I have personally neva seen a bride by Annie who is not lukin good. Infact whenever we see any bride looking nice we assume it must be by annie.
However i really think its too expensive but what can be done abt it!?!.

yar i think the fact that it was 4-5 years back and maybe not many people got her signature back than must have helped also like i said i was really keen that she did everything herself so though i was waiting outside the room but whenever she came out i went in to check how the make-up was goin n if she was doin it herself so she probably understood that when we paid for it we werent stupid but actually want her 2 the whole make-up and not 2 forget we came to her on Aana’s(lajwanti) recommendation who happens 2 be her friend so that probably also helped alot since we know how links work here:halo:.

you r absolutely right. I guess someone told me that in parlour that so many workers are missing. My point is that, if Annie can not manage to do signature makeup to many brides, why the hell does they do the booking for 80 brides on that day? It´s impossible, itna to mujhe bhi pata hai. Phir hona yehi hota hai na ke kisi ki ankhen banayi to kisi ki lipstick laga di, thora bohat samjha dia and that´s it. Main to bar bar shukar yehi kar rahi hun ke I was satisfied in the end. Warna ghar walon se alag juuten parne thee.
Annie is nice but can be very rude sometimes, as she was when I argued wif her regarding charges and service. But us ke haath main waqehi jaadu hai. Mera apna kamaal yeh thaa ke mera dress aur jewellry bohat khubsurat thii, Annie ke makeup ne in sab ko chand taare laga diye, Even the pics are brilliant, that means makeup was done very well-
So I would always recommend Annie (But keep praying ke high season main na jana paree kisi ko) lol.
