Booking a basic hall and then acquire seperate catering for lets say 120 guests… ?
or booking a hall with their own menu’s , where they have a minimum 200Per head system…?
..Forgot to mention , this is in Islamabad I am asking for ?
Thanks

ur gonna have to do the math for that urself. figure out who u wanna cater for and how much that hall would cost and how many people u would have. then figure out the hall that already provides catering. when reducing costs its usually cheaper to get outside catering since halls/hotels make most of the money having a mandatory catering contract with them.
unless u r catering from some amazing/famous chef who will charge u an arm and a leg, it will generally be less costly when catering from outside.

Re: Which one is less expensive ..
booking a hall with their menu is definetly less exp i know as i have been to a lot of places in isb if you dont rent a hall and get the catering done in some ground then it could be less exp but if u get a hall u will hafto pay the hall rent and then pay the caterers too btw just yesterday i saw the advertisment of laraib hall u were telling me about i thikn it will look very good after u get it decorated n all
I agree with sumorani, I think its cheaper when you’re getting it catered from outside. The hotel we booked wont allow outside catering and it costs 1200 per head…they even said it will go up later because of inflation
(i think im beginning to find excuses to use these smileys…so cute!!)
If I was getting it catered from outside, it would definitely be cheaper…but then again rent may be higher at a nice lawn that allows outside catering and decorations.

I did found Rajput caterers in Islamabad. My dad had personal experience with the a long time ago. and I've heard good things from couple of jan-nay walays. So, I think we are going to do catering from them and I believe they do have hall setups as well, not sure though. My dad is going to call them this week.
