When I was very little, I saw a Pakistani movie about a new daughter in law in a family. She is strong and doesn’t let anyone do anything negative against her.

She notices how the daughter of her mother in law lives in her mothers house and she bosses around her husband! There is nothing equal in that marriage between them. I’m not sure if she is the daughter of the mother in law, or the daughter of the mother in laws sister. The new daughter in law changes that behaviour.

Anyway, then there is another daughter in law who is mistreated but never opens her mouth. The new daughter in law makes sure that they treat her better as well.

It was a funny movie. I remember bits and pieces. I’d like to watch it again. But I don’t know the name.

I found the movie. But on YouTube there is just one song of the movie. It’s called “Ek din bahu ka”. I really enjoyed it, I remember there were many jokes and what I loved about the movie is that this one girl didn’t let anyone walk over her, as we say in Holland. She fights for justice, she doesn’t just pick the side of females in every case. When she sees one female behave negatively towards her husband, she is against that too. She changes the negative behaviour of her inlaws into something nice, without turning them into enemies. In the end, they realise their mistake and everyone lives happily and caring for each other from that moment on.
