So, ladies…do you prefer to apply eyeliner to your lower waterline or your lower lashline?
I usually do the lower lashline as I think it opens up the eyes more and gives a more softer look. My sister, on the other hand, dislikes that look and prefers lining the lower waterline instead.

Waterline cuz somehow i never (of the very few times i tried it) seem to get the lashline one rite

I quite like to apply it under the lash line. I also feel that it opens up the eyes and makes them look more awake. I've also noticed that white eyeliner under the lash line makes the eyes appear bigger.

i apply on both waterline and lashline. sometimes i apply white liner on the waterline and blackliner on the lashline.
I love how it looks on the lashline but whenever i do it...it looks messy and too thick. So i end up looking like an emo kid.

Doing it on the waterline looks more striking on me but also makes my eyes look a bit smaller, weirdly enough. I rarely do it under my eyes anymore unless it's a heavy look, but I tend to go below the lash line for a 'fuller' look. I think it depends on your eyeshape maybe

^I think waterline creates a more striking/fierce/intense sorta look....whereas lashline is more softer, doey eyed. Sometimes I'll only do the lashline halfway and not all the way to the inner corner.

When I'm going for drama I definitely do the water line but also add to the lash line which kinda always gets messy. Waterline us my usual look.

Waterline. Not so often the lash line. But now I've stopped applying eyeliner on
Lower lids as my sister and friends say it makes my eyes look smaller. I just apply it on the upper lid now!

I used to only put eyeliner on my upper lid for years, but now I feel it looks incomplete that way. People with big eyes can get away it and it's looks sufficient and beautiful on them, I need more work, lol.

I like it but feel I have big eyes so it doesn't suit me whenever I tried :(, besides it looks harsh as well although the 'look' looks incomplete without it. I do love it on other people though.
Even on the top lid, black looks harsh so I use brown.

Same here RV, I prefer lighter colours on my lower waterline and darker on my lower lashline while my sis prefers only on her lower waterline.
I looove wearing funky colours on my lower lashline too, like an electric blue/metallic green/sometimes purple too and keeping the waterline lighter like a white/nude/golden with a hint of neutral brown eyeshadow on the lid, gives the appearence of bigger eyes. And I loove it 
It’s kinda my signature look for the past 3-4 years. Gonna post pix too

Because of allergies I can't apply anything on the waterline. It has to be on the lash line and through trial and error I realized that smudging it or applying eye shadow under it makes it look bigger instead of just applying one lonely line. I'm still learning what looks best for me. Thank god for YouTube videos and gs.

Defo post pics, Sidra. I do have multi colored eyeliners, so I'd like to see how you've applied yours.

When I really do my makeup I do white on the waterline and black/dark brown on the lashline.
