Get ready for next generation! buy a 64 bit processor system. I just bought an Acer Fararri 4000 with AMD 64 Bit Turion ... systems humms and is ready for Windows Vista. Just my two cents.

Agree. I bought a 64 bit system also. Livestrong. Looks good and works great.

64 bit is good if you dont intend to game (value price laptop ~1300).
Otherwise, get Dell Inspiron 9300 ($1500) and upgrade the GPU to 7800GTX ($400) - and you will get The best gaming laptop!. Dell offers accidental warranty (as long as you dont use hammer :smash:)
