Which kitchen aid stand mixer to buy

I wanted to buy this for a long tyme…so my hubby is getting me one :slight_smile:
but I always thought there is one standard type… Bu today I researched and they have different lines… I m very confused … Now what to buy…?.

Kenwood is best, I have the one. My mom also used that one. I think Braun may also be good but kenwood is great, it even has the dougn kneading function

Get a Kitchenaid, the most heavy-duty you can afford. My mother got me a slightly older version of this one: KitchenAid®: Welcome to KitchenAid.com, and it is just great. This is the type which has the bowl sit suspended on 2 arms , whereas my old mixer was the kind where the bowl screws into the base of the mixer. The screw-in type was more stable, but the suspended type allows one to lift up the bowl manually a little when you’re working with a small amount of batter or whatever, so the paddle can reach. She got it on craigslist for a great price and so I suggest you keep your eye peeled for one on CL.

I got the pro and love it so far. The main difference bw that and the artisan is that the pro is better with thicker bread dough, so if you are planning on baking breads, it's a good idea. otherwise i've heard great things about the artisan. and unlike the pro, the artisan has a top that flips up.

Nest..not planning on making bread ... Just cakes or roti dough ... N stuff like tht...

Since u guyZ own this... Wt do guyZ use this for... I mean mostly wt do use this for.

N I also diff attachments...thts kind of interesting... U can use it for so many things

i use it for dough kneading, cream whipping, cakes etc. dough kneading for roti, pizzas, namak paras, chicken bread etc. its a pleasure to work with. for cream whipping and cake also you dont have to hold it as the hand beater, just start machine and you can do others chores side by side while being partially attentive to function machine

Get an original kitchenAid. KitchenAid®: Welcome to KitchenAid.com We got it cheaper at target, but its great. Heavy duty, and you can add on accessories with time as well such as meat grounder, speghetti maker etc.

Many people seem to prefer that. My pro does not do that. Instead, you use a handle to move the bowl up and down. I have not had any issues with that.

kenwood one get adjusted in the bottom and then on a click it can be taken out that it very simple
