interesting thread

while i find talat hussain a bit boring and sometime rude, i do trust and respect him. his overall reputation is solid

rauf klassara, i respect his investigative journalism and more importanly his courage to publish so many high profile scandals by naming culprits.

I also like saleem safi and amir hashim khakwani. both are well balanced and criticize every camp on merit, as i see it.

and I also like Nadeem Paracha of dawn…really witty, good grip of social issues, yes too liberal for some but well read,

    BTW today’s comments of klasra on issue of axact was nice. He said 4 big groups ke malikan ne haath pawon joree ch. Nisar ke saamne keh humari jan churao bol se axact ke bahaneee n action is taken so swiftly

^ yes Klasra I like amongst the lot. Talat hussain I used to like a few years ago, not any more.

I like Talat Hussain and Shahzaib Khanzada most cuz I dont see they working on any agenda or anything. They criticize pretty much everyone and do give their due respect to appreciables.

I hate Mobi d!ck Lickman and Najam Sethi most. But wait, I dont think they are NOT even journalists. They are just blatant liars and yes men for agencies.

After several years I have formed my belief that all of them are lifafa journalist.

1-rauf kalasra( wonder full inside stories of people in positions)
2-Dr moied/fawad chaudhary…

Mubahar was my fav before. He did do stupidities. But no one else did so much
serious work. I always want to know what he has to say.

Becuz he gets feed from agencies. Thats wut it is. And let me tell u this, its not like it happens in Pakistan only. Everywhere in the world agencies always keep few journalists (again, ML is not journalist though) in pocket inorder to express their opinions what they cant say in press conferences.
If you have watched ‘House of Cards’ you’ll know wut i mean

Would he not more stable in work, if he was agencies front man?
Still he brought lots of stuff in light, even if he was given that information.

I remember I use to follow stories in business/eco section in pakistan, I would get to similar conclusions.
Now I can just watch some one like him or rauf… who work on stories and figures.

Shahzaib Khanzada has a good program, great style with asking questions. During his earlier stints at other networks, I didn’t like when he didn’t control the live fights on his program but must say has changed a lot over the years.

Sohail Warraich, mainly with political analysis of politicians and current affairs. He’s not that intrusive like the rest, has a very subtle way of asking questions without offense and people like that about him. Very down to earth.

Was a fan of Talat Hussain, no more. He just comes across as a type of pseudo-intellectual who thinks highly of himself.

yes he has this problem..too dry and rude and thinking highly of himself.

but no corruption allegations or taking favors from anyone.

Kunwar Khuldune Shahid and Nadeem Paracha, if not for anything else, than for their sheer courage to express the views they do.
