Of course no one likes to cry. Unless they are tears of joy! But, in the long run, definitely truth is better. Truth is always, always better. Hard to swallow and painful and bitter and still better, somehow.

depends whose saying it! if someone very close to me - then yea definitely truth.
if it comes from people who dont matter to me, then whatever it is makes no difference.

My Philosophy is, tell the people what they NEED to know, and not what they WANT to know, this saves me from lots and lots of arguments.
And as you all maybe aware, needs changes with the time... :)

the truth cos .. when u lie .. it always cathes u up .. and u ll have to lie a hundred more times to just cover one initial lie .. so i d go with the truth even if it hurts .. thats just life .. and also basic teaching of islam .. Haq will always prevail bad ..
so i guess truth wins which is good :)

truth, although it brings more than a single tear but a lie will take u in a condition where one gets into a continuous and endless depression.

It depends! Most most most usually the truth, but sometimes the lie (like "honey does this dress make me look fat!")
