Please could any designers advise about cloth material and its price? what is the best type of material that is considered "pure" when getting kaam wala kapray? what type of chiffon is most expensive and best quality? how many grams should it be?

trying to find get an idea before i have kaam wala kapray made.

Q :-what type of chiffon is most expensive and best quality?
A:- go out for shimos silk...the most expensive and bestest quality fabric.
i personally love it.

so silk chiffon is better and higher priced than crinkle chiffon? does grams matter? I know ppl refer to chiffon in grams? Is 60 grams best? what about malai gorgette is that less inferior to crinkle chiffon? every single designer i have ordered from uses crinkle chiffon.......I want the smooth material......I guess that would be silk chiffon or shimos chiffon, right?

chiffon can either be silk, synthetic or a mix. actually, the purer it is, the more delicate it is. both crinkle and flat chiffon can be pure. however, i find that in Pakistan, there is greater availability of better quality in crinkle.

a basic way to think of grams is how thick the fabric is. so 60grams would be thicker than 40grams. so if i was have a silk slip, i'd go for a lower gram silk, if i wanted it for trousers or a shalwar.. higher.

georgette is a type of crepe and is duller. it's also flat. you should be alight if you ask for chiffon georgette.

"shimos" silk is satin. quality is one thing but you have to think about wear-ability, it stains easily and if jewellery gets caught in the fabric it's very noticeable.

Could anyone tell me which fabric is comfy, has a good fall and is machine washable without the risks of shrinking and losing color, basically a fabric for daily casual wear that could easily be washed and dried in a regular washer and drier

^Cotton Viscose... in Pakistan it is called "Linen" but you need to find good quality. We found good stuff when we went to Lahore once but that's because my mum knows what will be fine in the wash and won't shrink. Otherwise, we buy it from here (UK) and send it there for stitching.

Which type of fabric can carry heavy kaam like for a bridal? Does one use card chiffon or Chiffon Banarsi?
