Beaconhouse is fine, though they have so many branches that it seems they have commodotized the education.

Aitchison is pretty good, if one is bright and wants to go for O-Level and A-Level route and then go abroad. Getting into Aitchison is a chore and its fairly pricey now.

Crescent is a good option, as it has a huge area, great reputation and a solid faculty.

Lahore Grammar is more famous for girls, than for boys.

The rest are either ultra-expensive foreign-labled burger schools or inconsequential when you are talking about the best of the best.

i didnt study in pakistan but when we moved back in 2000. my brother studied in beaconhouse. my brother got good grades.

How would you define "Islamic minded"? If you mean to say the schools which impart Islamic Education in addition to other education, I've heard that Skills and Rozan are good.
