Which hair straightener do you use?

I’ve had a CHI for the last 2-3 years and I notice it doesn’t straighten as quickly as it used to and now I’m wanting a new one. Please suggest something that is shaped similar to the CHI and is around 1"-1.5" wide so I can also wave/curl my hair if needed (I have curly hair but I tend to sometimes wave the bottom of my hair when I straighten.

I was thinking of a GHD but it isn’t ionic. help!

I've used GHDs for the last 7 years and IMO nothing comes close to them. Amazing amazing amazing. (I know this isn't helpful...but yeah lol)

lol, thanks KJ! The only thing that a GHD doesnt have is a control to change settings. Can you please link me the model you have?

I also have curly hair, not wavy or partially frizzy, so I need something where I dont need to iron out the piece over and over again and something that doesn't leave it looking dry. I notice my CHI does that, it ruined my ends!

I have Sedu 1 1/2 inch and GHD 1 inch. I love them both GHD is more for travel cuz it's dual voltage plus straightener curler
Sedu for regular use it has adjustable heat and tourmaline plates been using it for 5 yrs no problems at all

Tbh temperature control is something I’ve never found useful anyway, be it a straightner or curler I want it to be the hotest it can be so it’ll do the job properly first time round. I have thick wavy hair that poofs out like crazy and 1 iron is always enough. I used to have butt length hair and it would take me no longer than 5 mins to straighten it all. Honestly, I could rant and rave all day about it. If you’re unsure about purchasing it without a trial, go to a hair salon that uses GHDs and get it styled. It won’t cost much and you’ll br better informed about the product.

I have a CHI which I love! But I heard GHD is amazinggg! That is what I originally wanted, but my friend bought me the CHI for my bday :)

GHD. Amazing. I wouldn't go back now since I've tried them.
