Just read through the related thread in the "Feedbacks" section.
Looks like the GS powers-that-be are trying to create space (on the side of the page) to tout their wares to unsuspecting/innocent Guppies like us.

the names are all cut off and there is no balance....it's harder on the eyes

I actually prefered the old settings… the side thing is faggoty. its somethin gizzy could have come up with cause he is dutch :rolleyes:

It doesnt really matters to ME
cuz i never used the icons even when it was up there..and dont use it now
but umm i think the site looked better and more organized with its being UP there..and not on the side
