Which doctor to consult

One of my friend is worried about his private part. He does not has pain in it. But actually he has a fight last week and they hit him on that. He asked me which doctor his should consult. I told him urologist. Is that right answer?

Re: Which doctor to consult

If there is no pain then what else is the problem?

Yes. Urologist. But general surgeon or a good primary Doc would do too if its something simple.

Physical injury may cause nerve damage, veins rupture or a condition called torsion.
Support devices also help. But you did not mention the problem other than being 'worried'.

from where u r?
i can tell u only from lahore

Thanks. i just read it. My friend did not go to any doctor. He say that he is ok. He did not have any pain, but the only problem he has is that his penis is soft any not becoming hard even after trying. I gave your suggustion to him

^ :D

Most likely it is psychological. Penile hardening is related to blood collection after mental stimulation.

He needs to relax and if he can notice hardening of his penis during sleep by immediately awakening (by chance) after a dream (REM sleep) then he is just fine.

A test of penile tumescence can be done to confirm this if he is willing to go through this.
