Megs- get the anastsia one because it has the option of a yellow based Hilighter color. I'm waiting for her to come out with a cream based contour kit. If you want a total customized one, the maybelline fit me sticks in the light and dark shades are amazing for contouring.
^ those are what I use too! Love the sticks for contouring. I have a small face and brushes spread my colours around everywhere instead of contouring so sticks work well for that.
I really want the Anastasia kit.. I have a cheap Sleek one but I’ll get the Anastasia one when it’s available in the UK.. The sleek kit is small and basic but has great reviews online if anyone wants to check it out..
^Same, I'm waiting for the anastasia one too :( I've used the sleek one, it's not bad but it doesn't blend propertly on me. I prefer the benefit powder I use
I wish I could master this art of contouring. I still suck at it as much as I try. the contouring makes my face look darker than my real skin color even if I only put it on in the correct places like below the cheek bone, not too much but still I can't get it right when I look at the selfie, it totally stinks.
hows the pigmentation and staying power of the anastasia kit? i have seen it all over instagram, all MUA use it. but i would like to know if anyone has personally used it and recommends it.
It's not actually a contour powder, it's a foundation but a few shades darker than my usual. it's the best one I've found for contouring without looking caked on, and the colour really suits me. It's the 'Hello Flawless!' powder
I also use the Sleek one - I really like it and find it easy to use - i have however heard that creams are better but I think they may need more skill than i posses!
Anyone tried any of the higher end ones? i know nars do one? I cant imagine how it will differ from what Sleek already offer?
I'm still learning to contour without getting the "overdone" look.
Can someone that's good at it please post some before and after pics of a well-contoured face?

I also use a darker foundation for contouring and bronzing purposes. I use the MAC Studio Fix Powder.

ELF had a matte bronzer which worked really good as a contouring powder. but unfortunately they d/c that particular line of bronzer. it was only $1 and had the perfect brown/grey no shimmer tone. they have another matte bronzer but i dont know if the color is going to be the same as the old one
