I really need help. I’m getting this outfit made. For some reason this color don’t look nice on me :(. Now i’m confused in choosing a color. Will it look good in dark peach color or shall i go for some other color. plz plz help me. I have sanwala complexion.

I loved this peach anarkali on sonam! she has a gorgeous sanwala complexion and she knows how to flaunt it using the right makeup!!!

Jewel tones look great on desi skin... how about having it made in a richer tone of the original colour?

dark poeple look better in bright colours. Stay away from peaches and pasty shades.

bright colors can unfortunately look garish...
its best to always go to a fabric store and place colors next to your face..

then we'll agree to disagree. Bright colours on pale skin make you look really washed out and *bimaar *and pastey shades on darker skin brings out the yellowish undertones.
You can however get warmer soft-shades and cooler-bright shades. But in general... im right :p

I love the outfit Sonam is wearing, but she can look good in anything.

i dont think we shoul d say "bright looks good on fair bad on pale or vice versa" its not good to use hard andd fast rules. sometimes certain colors look good that the rules say wouldn't on each individual so just try them against ur face! play with it and trust your intuition. most important have fun!
The original itself is sooooooooo pretty…I’d even stick with that. I think blue goes lovely with most complexions. You can try putting blue and peach clothes against yourself and get opinions from others to see what color looks the best with your complexion.
Otherwise…I think a peach AND blue combination is very pretty. Peach can also go nice against with mauve or dark pink. And peach could also look pretty against a smokey purple.

i love this color too. its gorgeous but like i have mentioned before it dosen't suit me. any color that got bluish touch in it don't look nice on me. it makes me look dark like i got reali bad sun tan.
i think i should go with dark peach color. i will give all the details to my hubby tomorrow. hez getting it made for me. and it so sad after the marriage its going to be our first eid and we can't celebrate it together. once its ready i will post pictures. hopefully it comes out nice.

No colour is wrong for anyone... it's all about getting the right shade and tone of that particular colour to complement your skin tone :)
How about a pistachio green? Or mauve?

i have choosen these shades. i knw they are similar but 1 or 2 shades lighter and darker to each other. can you please tell me which shade will look nice on this dress.
