How was tehran? And how are Iranians? Is tehran conservative or liberal? I know iran as a whole leans towards the conservative side. Im quite fascinated by persian culture cuz its so closely related to ours

I was in Tehran between 1977 and 1979, this was the time when Shah was still there and than the revolution came and Khomeni took over. I was there through out the revolution. I don’t know about now but back than it was not conservative and the people were not that religious. There was a political vacuum and the only opposition to the Shah came form the mosques, hence the Khomeni revolution.
