I want to donate a part of my zakat to a charity organization towards a well/hand pump. Have heard good and bad stories about a few so not sure which one to donate too. Can anyone recommend an organization that has a good repute and has done actual work on the ground especially towards the clean water initiative?

I have always thought doing something (as in donating labour for institutions…like teach for India) is better..
