so? are you talking engine or interior? If you are talkign engine..then realize that the purchase decision is in Europe wehere Fuel is actually more espensive than bottled water unlike US :)

If it is interior space that is an issue, I doubt that the Bug has less room than a miata or s2000 or an eclipse etc.

If you read the whole post...Umer Bhai wanted a car bigger than the Golf. And the last time I checked a Bug was smaller than a golf!

two more posts and u got urself 9200! congrads.

After my promotion I'm eligible for a company car. However I'll stick with my Ford Mondeo for now as I want to wait for the 2003 models of Passat and A4 to come out.

Models for Passat & A4 are not changing in 2003. They are staying the same shape & specs.

Really? I was told something else. Well, I'll have a re-check on that.

Golf is gonna be phased out - but I am not wrong Passat & A4 will remain the same. But check I might have wrong info.

you've probably already made your mind about Passat, but make sure you look into the car's resale value. Passat has fairly good resale value, but I've seen other cars with much better resale (e.g. BMW 3 series, Honda Accord...). I never did research on Audi so don't know how its resale value is.

bazgha,

Umer lives in Austria. When talking of resale values, we'll just have to keep that in mind. US or Canadian resale values might not be truly indicative of the resale values in Austria.

its a company car , so i dont think hed care about resale value...i could be wrong if bhai is gettin the car some other way.

Umer,

Why don’t you post what are the specs of Passat and A4 that you are getting and it will be easy for others to advise and you to differentiate/understand.

I am pretty sure you are more aware of cars than an any general manager of the car company  (based on your replies and info you have provided earlier)
