my art is normal. nothing really impressive (may be two or three pieces). i have to work hard to win any competition.
I believe it has to have acceptance, regardless of how much time one has spent. One man's trash is another's gold. I have designed things, captured, written, that I thought was worthless and even shy/ashamed to show someone, but I am surprised when I found out that people gave those things a value and encouraged me to continue, I take a part in one charity dinner show for kids every year and people donate things that they think it is no value for them (or some times it is donated because it has a value) and you wouldn't believe during auction of those things, some sell 2000% more that what was expected and kids foundation gets good money every year with this practice.
My artist friend gave me some paintings few years back and he was thinking it has very no cash value or max to 20,000 rupees but when I showed to some people, I was surprised they valued it 10 times more, I decided not to sell them and still owns .
Far better then Nikon ... its very light compare to other Entry level D-SLR .. pictures quality is as fine as it can be, none of other companies can beat it.
Its very responsive and quick, the startup time to first shoot is 0.4 sec (can your camera beat it), and 3.5 frames a second.. what else.. oh yeh the thing i don't like is..image stabilization which is not built it.. else.. it was a great upgrade over XTI .. Canon really learn alot and listen to feedback and incorporate all the features.. .we were crying about !
