well there are different types of lenses… wide angle, telephoto zoom lens, fish eye, macro etc… they all take photos differently..
i cant really explain it to you but do some research on it .. google ..
i had wide angle VR and telephoto before and yesterday i bought the macro zoom lens too and the photos are turning out brilliant! there is a whole lot of difference…
this is not like a normal digital camera where the lens is fixed…
DSLRs are for people who love taking photos or are professionals:p
good thing is i love taking photos and i am on my way to becoming a professional:p

well if u get the D60 package then the VR wide angle lense comes with it and also the telephoto ..
apart from the package if u want another lense u will have to buy it..
well for standard photos wide angle or normal lense does the job but if u want to use ur camera for specific things like close ups or extreme close ups then macro lense or macro zoom lense are good...
telephoto makes distance objects appear magnified...
so its good to zoom in on things far far away...
“even dumber” is going to make/build his own telescope 10" mirror.(huge)
it would be 6 feet tall.
Now to answer your question, lens magnify objects. Like your ,brain if looked through the lens , would look like a normal size brain.
last question you are looking for a DSLR camera on that you can put bigger lens on.

Their are two types of cameras here: Digital Camera (Very popular-Small-Cutie pie) and DSLR (Manual Controls, Big-Chunky, Huge)
In digital camera lens is fixed, and it is auto zoom.
In dslr lens is interchangeable, you can buy wide angle, macro, telescopic lens.. its for professionals only, you have more control over different settings, like white noise, shutter speed, iso, aperture ..etc.etc.. technical stuff !

Photography is time consuming worthess, bakwass, DFM (dour fitey mouh) and haraam .. so go for digital cam people, it will look sexy ..while you taking pictures.. + 2nd & third generation DSLR lack video capabilities .. !

my art is normal. nothing really impressive (may be two or three pieces). i have to work hard to win any competition.
I also wrote that 2nd & third generation lack video capabilities .. D90 is 4th generation.
For average users who don’t know what is ISO, noise, shutter .. it will take worst pictures then ever … D90 has to be same look & feel like D60 .. other wise who is gonna buy it ? its called legacy support !

i was being sarcastic bhai,... aap tu ghussa kar gey.. God is not only creator, we humans create stuff too, like life, imagination, feelings, art.. etc..etc..
