how r u everyone out there?? I need some help for two of my problems, hope i’ll get some good suggestions from the experienced mums :slight_smile:

firstly, whichz the best brand of diapers you wud suggest me in karachi??

nowadayz SUSU diapers r quite in.. r they of good quality? i.e. not causing rashes and well absorbing???

2ndly my problem rather my lil onez problem whichz quite depressing me is her nappy rashes, i’ve tried sooo many rashes creams, anti fungal, anti-biotic creams, none of them is working completly, seems like rashes starts going but suddenly appears again .. though i’m jus keeping my baby away from all diapers since she got rashes, shez in cotton napkins all the time… but still no use…

plz plz plz ladies do help me out wid ur remedies n suggestions…**

I’ve used pampers brand without any problem. Just try to change diapers frequently and change a poopy diaper as soon as possible. The best cure for baby rash that worked for me was using cornflour or cornstarch on the rash and leaving baby exposed to air out for a while. Worked wonders.
Other preventive remedies are using Vaseline or rashnil kinda cream during each nappy change.

I use Huggies n love them the best thing is they never got leaked. For rashes I either use canestan or mustela rash cream. It works or me. I always apply baby jelly before changing diaper. N make sure it’s completely dry before applying pamper. Rest raania gave you nice suggestions

i’ve always used pampers and never had any issues. any slight rashes have been treated with desitin and it works pretty fast. like others have said, change diapers frequently, and poopy diapers immediately.

I live in karachi and use the Pampers brand nappies here, pretty happy with them. You’ll find that these are imported usually.

And for nappy rash, i use Desitin. Its made in Canada but you can usually find it in the bigger stores.

Canestan is best for it, it works within 24 hrs

I dont know of the cure but i think its best to see your baby’s paediatrician about it and follow their advise.

Pampers are the best and for rashes keep the baby clean all the time. Do not use wipes but wash him/her every time with water. For rashes mix a little bit of mustard oil with water on the palms of your hands and apply on rashes. It worked for my baby.

We’ve always used Pampers for all 3 kids. Never had to try anything else, which tells you: They are good.

I am using pamper. And they fine. And I always apply johnson lotion on each change.

check with the doc.. my baby had a yeast infection due to my antibiotics (he was being breast fed at that time) and doc gave us the prescription diaper rash cream to apply.. I dont remember the name anymore but it worked within 24 hours.

^ my baby had same issue,its common in newborns,doc prescribed canestan and it worked within 24 hrs :slight_smile:

Dont knw abut yeast infection.
My new born baby hv gas prob. Gripe wated I gave with other syrup but all that didnt work.
Any tips??? Or advice for me as I do bf.

are you taking care of your own diet?may be something passing through you??my baby was very colicky to the extend tht I have to use colic drops, massage regularly and moving baby legs in cycling motion, give gap bw feeding burp the baby between the feed.
