I tend to buy a pair of boots in colors: beige/camel, brown and black in slightly different styles/lengths - dat way i can swap them around wid my different outfits to give a different look each day.

oh man, i do NOT like ankle boots with dresses or skirts. they’re fine for pants, but this look only works for those who have long legs. i’ve seen girls without those with these on and they look hideous because you’re visually just cut off. so for me, vive le long boot! lol they guarantee any leg looks hott and slim and shapely.
plus you can’t wear ankle boots in toronto in the winter :stuck_out_tongue:

as an aside: i think people need to keep their figure in mind when they buy anything in fashion. just cos its in fashion doesn’t mean it’ll work for you. and there are so many trends out there that you can follow, not being able to pull off one look is not the end of the world.

i totally agree wid u - i always look at wat suits me/my style/my figure/height/personality.. bcos if it doesnt suit me then its no point... also i tend to go for long boots more often as im quite petite so prefer to give more length to my frame and make d most of wat i have got... ankle boots i tend to wear wid trousers,jeans and occasionally wid very long maxi fishtail skirts...

I feel so uncomfortable looking at these thin tights or bare legs in winter, it makes me feel cold :( or when girls where short short sweaters with some of their torso showing, it really makes me shiver. I have to be fully covered in winters or i'd jam, even dislike wearing sweaters with short sleeves on a cold day. Though I love those turtle necks with the short sleeves but I don't get them cos they seem impractical to me, if its cold enough for a turtle neck then how do you keep ur arms warm?

even then the slouchy relaxed ankle boots look better with skirts/ dresses than the cuffed ankle boots. IMO.
