Ditto. From a religious point of view a dead body should be buried ASAP. So you should be buried wherever you die. You should not be carried around in planes, etc. for several days.
One of my uncles was flying back from Pakistan to the US and had planned a week-long stopover in London. He had a heart attack after landing in Heathrow and passed away on the way to the hospital. Most of his kids live in the US, most of his other relatives in Pakistan. But he had already stated in his life-time that wherever he dies he wants to be buried there. So even though he doesn't have very close relatives in the UK, he was buried in a Muslim Cemetry in London according to his wish.
