for domain management godaddy

at work we are using rackspace & amazon ec2/s3

godaddy for domains and hosting space, but I am planning to switch hosting provider to hostgator.

Other day I bought one month hosting plan from GoDaddy and man its horrible . On every other click they were asking for money for ‘‘advance features’’ .

I have EC2 but configuring all the site and emails is such a pain .

Nikki with all your Apple systems , you can think about starting your own hosting company :wink: . . . Amazon is right in your city . Learn from them .

Dedicated Server in Dallas, TX (Softlayer). At work we use local data center in Atlanta, GA for colo.

I would not recommend Godaddy for hosting…

Try HostGator’s VPS 20% off now or JustHost’s unlimited everything deal! There are others too, like LunarPages and BlueHost.

I was with GoDaddy for six years... now looking to switch - but at the same time, also contemplating consolidating my website and blog into one. I need to make up my mind in the next couple of months.

I just made an account with webhostinghub and so far so good . They have everything unlimited for like 4 bucks a month . Server speed looks pretty decent too .

Btw my only research was from the online reviews . Good thing is that they have 24/7 tech support based in US . So you can pretty much pick up your phone and call them anytime you want .

and yes they have Cpanel interface which is very easy and straightforward to use .

I’m currently hosting with 9cubehosting.com . Here i got shared hosting plan at low cost. Their service and support are very nice. I’m very happy with their service.

I’m currently using brinkster. I liked it for the technologies they gave you access to in a single plan. However the cost has increased without any improvement in the service. This will be my last month with them.
