Where would you like to be buried

Re: Where would you like to be buried

Ditto!!!

but i think it might not be the case if i die outside Pakistan …I’ve tried talking about what i want …but nobody is willing to talk about it!

Re: Where would you like to be buried

It doesn't matter so long as it's a Muslim graveyard.

Re: Where would you like to be buried

Help me understand something, some of you friggin ppl come to the western countries rape their jobs, some get welfare and eat off their food stamps, but your noses are so highly stuck/lodged up Islams ass that you dont want to die in a western country or if you die you want your rotting worm laden corpses sent back .Un Fcuking believable.
GTF out right now while you are alive, spare us a few jobs and at least enjoy the flight back home.

Re: Where would you like to be buried

In Pakistan, not any old part of Pakistan but my ancestral village amongst my forefathers.

The thought of being buried in a wooden coffin in some dark damp English cemetry makes me feel claustrophobic, cold and petrified, not to mention the fact that I probably wont be allowed to rest in peace and a gang of racists will excavate my remains.

I want to go back to Pakistan not because I have some sort of silly patriotism for a crap state like Pakistan but rather because I want to go back to my own land, my village and my own people, my paternal family and maternal and relatives, Pakistan as a state I couldn’t care less about because I’d much rather my village was part of India or Afghanistan, at least these nations are respect and are not confused or suffering from any inferiority complexes. :snooty:

Re: Where would you like to be buried

hey Afia, it took our community a long time to discuss and bring up this issue. Unfortunately there was a death in the community and the family had to drive for 45 minutes to bury their relative. After that people started sort of thinking about death and where they would need to buried. It took a good 5-7 years to convince the masjid and buy a portion of the graveyard from the City.

Re: Where would you like to be buried

In order of preference:

1) Jannat-ul-Baqi

2) Any Muslim graveyard...

3) Anywhere...

Re: Where would you like to be buried

Any Muslim graveyard, preferabbly the same one in which I have family/relatives buried at.

Re: Where would you like to be buried

Ok, what's the actual difference betweenn being buried in a "muslim" graveyard and being buried in a non-religious or Christian graveyard. What difference would it make on the Day of Judgement?

Re: Where would you like to be buried

You forgot your favorite Mullah’s arse.
I am sure he should be able to accomodate you.

Re: Where would you like to be buried

I think it’d make more sense to be buried in a Muslim graveyard, because, um, we ARE Muslims. BUT if there is some far-off wierd situation in which I can’t be buried with other Muslims, than I’d rather rot on Earth.

hahah jk jk I’d like to be buried with the kaafirs, in that case. white cloth, no coffin.

Re: Where would you like to be buried

Grumblepressup, as you will be buried head down in concrete probably with a stake through your heart as an additional security measure doesnt mean you should be rude about where other people want to be buried.

Chel Chabila Babu (such a long name to type) You made me smile...i have the same hang up..... for some unknown reason I have issues with being buried in a cold miserable country, I dont feel so bad about being buried somewhere like Spain.

But with this global warming business I think the uk will get moresunshine.... will that make things better?

Re: Where would you like to be buried

Where would those of you who where born in paks but have lived the majority of your life in another country alone (most family in Paks) like to be buried?

is it important to be near family...buried near deceased relatives

Re: Where would you like to be buried

how would you feel if your boys wives had em buried near their families?

does it matter?

Re: Where would you like to be buried

Doesn't matter where I'm buried as long as I go to heaven and see my father again :)

Bless You Starsky!:flower2:

Re: Where would you like to be buried

Global warming, either that (fat chance!) or a nice cosy indoor family morgue/tomb with lots of lighting and central heating, they can just lay me to rest on one of the vacant ‘bed things’ (like the Shakespearean times) till I decompose and turn into compost for my greatgrandsons’ lawn.

What put me off over here was having to be buried in a coffin (I’d suffocate!) and an article I read in some magazine, I think it was either in ‘Bella’ or ‘Take a Break’ (I know I know), it showed this cemetry had got flooded and water had got into the graves so they had to dig them up and put drains in the graves, sent shivers down my spine.

Re: Where would you like to be buried

but if you get a nice lead lined coffin and seal the whole lot in wax not only will you not decompose but you'll be nice and fresh and ready for your next life.

and you can be planted over a bed of gravel with a good handful of john inniss compost

Re: Where would you like to be buried

I would like to be frozen. This way they can preserve my body for ages. They may even take my DNA and make clones from this valuable gene pool. If that's not possible, I would like to be mummified and put in a museum. If that's not possible, I'll go for any cozy grave with a broadband internet connection.
On a serious note, I don't think my burial place matters as long as I go to heaven. And I do believe in life after death. :)
