If you could spend each of your weekends somewhere new in the US (yes it is limited to the US-America). Where would you fly out to? So far I have done most of the east coast and mid west and am now looking at cities out in the west coast to check out the next year for 4 -8 weekends. So if you have been somewhere that you really liked do tell me here or by PM and why. I will probably start planning my trips next week so need the information by then. Already been to SF and San Deigo
Just go to all the places you haven't been before and have fun.
yeah.. take a trip to LA e.g
West coast...have you done Yosemite, Tahoe?
New York, DC, Atlanta, Orlando, Chicago....
Vegas :halo:, Grand Canyon (Phoenix), Colorado … haven’t been here myself but it’s gorgeous … you can do lots of outdoor activities if you are into that stuff.
Have you explored Boston and Providence. I have been there many times on e-saver fares, often spending zilch on accommodation. I like Pittsburgh too. On the pacific coast, Seattle and Portland are great. Not much fan of the ‘South.’
uhm..i dunno…i’d go to boston maybe..pata nahi ![]()
I hear New Orleans is quite nice and historic as well ... old French colony, etc. Actually, I really wanna go here. It looks so European ... cobble stone streets, gorgeous churches, colourful buildings ... :)
Oops, just realised you were talking about west coast only. Never mind then.
I live in Boston, shop in Providence and have lived or travelled through most of the East Coast/Mid West (NYC, NJ, Chicago, Detroit, Orlando, Raliegh, Rapid City, San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose, San Deigo, CT, DC areas, Atlanta, etc).
I am planning on doing Lake Tahoe, and saving Grand Canyon till later on in the year since its not open this time of year I think. Vegas I have to plan with friends as visiting alone would be a bore most likely.
So with Lake Tahoe and LA, I was hoping to add one or two more cities that would be fun to visit without been extremely cold and I can do on my own, if friends can plan thier vacations with me. Is Yosemite open this time of year to visitors? and Seattle and Portland worth visiting?
If nothing else shows up I might just visit friends in Missisippi!
Do hichhiking u will see most of the placeses in US
Re: Where would you go
If ur doing the Tahoe/LA route you can add in San Diego, specially the La Jolla area is awesome (if you're into beaches) or you can take a drive down to Tijuana, Mexico (I know that's technically out of USA)
Re: Where would you go
Santa Cruz is gorgeous. But it’d probably be a good idea to wait till the summer before going there.
