^ And I could give you names of philosophers that say Islam will end history, so what? I wish you could point to me some practical reason or example as to why or how your idealogy is 'a lot better'. Sorry, I just don't see it. The thing about democracy is that people have a choice. The 100+ countries that are democratic today want to be democratic. The majority aren't Musllim and don't want to become Muslim. You can't force a religion on people and you can't have an Islamo-facist government impose their laws and rule on others.

Anyway, before it ever comes to that, a religious state MUST first have some type of benevolent state with a righteous government. That is so far from reality today that the rest of this impossible scenario (my 1st paragraph) doesn't even have to come into play.

**In my opinion for the current times muslims need an HONEST, RIGHTEOUS STRONG DICTATORSHIP. Western democracy would not be the solution. By the way all those people writing about democracy should realize that for democracy to be effective u need an educated, honest and thoughtful population which we dont have. Also if your democracy is based on votes and polls and it tells you that 55% population of islamabad is in favour of GAY pride parade, would you accommodate their democratic wishes and rights??? **
