Question is, India Produces G2 rifles ( i guess) and Pakistan have its G3 ( i guess and i'll appreciate if someone corrects it), and these terrorists have UZI guns, AK-47 and all weapons made from UAE, Israel, and Russia..
why don't anyone raise fingers to the arm-producing factories, arm-dealers??? and blame these countries for not being able to control their arm industry and providing the arms to these terrorists..
I am sure none of these terrorist owns any arm factory in said countries!!!

How do you come up with $9 estimate?
If that estimate is $9 for an ordinary Pakistani ($1.5 billion for 170 million population), then it is not correct way to look at Pak-US military contracts.
Pakistan is getting paid $1.5 to $3 billion a year for 70,000 troops in FATA. That comes out to be $20K to $60K per person. Back in the days of anti-commi fight, this payout was much much higher because a lot fewer soldiers (less than 5,000)were directly involved in the war.
You must realize that military contracts pay much much higher (per person) compared to any other type of inter-government contracts.
Ordinary manufacturing jobs in China that produce Walmart toys pay in the range of $1000 (or less) per person per year.
Let me give you a quick example from our neighborhood.
Indians get roughly $20 billion a year average for IT and other contracts. We cannot say that India is working at $20 a year per person. You have to see how many IT experts bring home $20 billion then you will get a much higher income per IT person.
If Bangladesh makes $150 million from textile-contracts with the USA, then we should not say that BDesh makes $1 per person per year from the USA contracts. Instead we should see that 2 million BDeshis are directly involved in textile, so they earn $75 per person per year from the USA.
Like any contract, money is only one aspect there are other costs and benefits involved that should be considered for a thorough analysis.
p.s. The dollar amounts for US to India or US to BDesh are general figures to show a quick comparison. See the trade magazines for more accurate numbers.

Most people in Pakistan are found of telling jokes about Mullahs & Co.
Majority do not pray five times a day and some go to mosques on fridays and some only eid days.
Majority of Pakistanies are born muslims and they live according to the tradition of their respetive area.
Pakistanies generally known as fun-loving people, with great sense of humour, fond of theater, dramas, serials, tv shows, ( no interest in cinema as the movies lack quality to attract viewers).
One can see, latest fashion amoung the masses of young and old population.
and list goes on... and still people say that Pakistanies support talibanism or religious extremism.. i think the one who says this should pay some visits to Pakistan...and get its record corrected...

The problem with a lot of Pakistanis is they are quick to judge. I think anyone laughing at the job the securiy forces did should trade positions. let see how much better they do?
Its impossible to stop terrorist attacks ask israel, India, the UK and ao mny other countries out there.
They laugh at pakistani intelligence services but not even the greats like CIA or Mossad knew about 9/11 (so we are told to believe). Look at the number of attacks on Israel and can they stop even though they have so much security, such a powerful army and intelligence services?
For what Pakistan is ranked in the world it's intelligence services is ranked much higher. i dont agree with what they do but they really could be alot worse.

actually problem with us we see events as if that is a movie, a hero would pop up and finishes the job in few minutes..
to be very frank it aint that simple...
initially i did get the similar feeling of frustration that what they are doing outside why arent they going in but in the end i think they did the right thing, first encircle the compound then go in.
although they were disorganized and slow given what i came to know later about inside space (it was open space very few rooms) of the building but still given it was mostly done by police commandos they did it comparatively well than their previous performance and it was not Bad at all, in the end they finished the job with very few casualties.
furthermore worst of them all was there were lot of people and there was talk they had changed their dress to police uniform.

Talibs and other terrorists doesn't have UZIs but their weapons are surely western or Russian product.
Now These weapons, may it be Rocket Launcher, Hand-grenades, Ak-47s and other sophisticated weapons.. have more impact then a nuclear war will have.. we might shy away from a nuclear war, but these weapons are killing thousands of people on daily basis.
We say that these terrorists might get their hands on Nuclear Weapon, but why don't the world leaders stop the private production of these arms and sieze all the factories who produce these weapons and then sell it to the terrorist groups.
If these terrorist is out of arms , surely they will not be as deadly as they are now...???
But i guess the priority of the west is not to combat the terrorism in order to get rid of it, it is being done just to create more demand for their arm industry, which despite the financial melt down is doing fine..

The Ak-47 of Darra is not dependable.. it have many flows, it may be a good rifle to show that one have got Ak-47 but one it comes to a combat, it is useless piece... again i am not expert, it was told to me that, the shooting range of Darra's Ak-47 is lesser than the Russian AK-47....
but again, govt have to shut down this workshops in darra as well...
If i am not wrong, Pakistani terrorist likes this Spanish gun called point 22 ( or something of this sort) it have good range and accuracy, light in weight, bullets are easily available and makes less noise or almost no noise...

You're right, darra weapons are not that reliable. They tend to blow up. The weapons are being smuggled into Pakistan from many places, but are mostly of Chinese or Eastern European stock.

Terrorists have changed their tactics, which is why it will take us time to adjust to it. We are witnessning a new pattern of voilence from the extremists so it requires from the authorities-civilians to be more vigilant than ever.
