He'll live off a cosy general's pension and make a bit of money giving speeches in pakistan and around the world on the side.
Nobody is inviting him to deliver speeches, even if he does so voluntarily. Not even a doneky would go to listen his hee-haw once he is removed from power.

Well, if BB can make money from her speaking tours why cant he? I'm sure he still has some fans willing to pay to hear him. BTW, I'd pref him being charged under article 6 of the constitution for treason and be punished for that.
^^ Not to forget Article 4, for selling Pakistanis and others kidnapped/rendered in Pakistan to CIA for a few peanuts, without them being brought in front of a judge...
According to the constitution apparently he cannot have one. But since when does the constitution matter to Musharaff?! There have been rumors about him having residency / green card for a very long time..
Same goes for Shaukat Aziz. With him though, theres less doubt. I can confirm for a fact that he has a green card. My uncle is good friends with him - unfortunately !
One of the cases that was about to come in front of the CJ by the way, was whether anyone can hold the office of President/PM while holding dual nationality - this case has already been filed in the Supreme Court. Aitezaz Ahsan has already said that this is one of the reasons Musharaff filed the reference as he was unsure what the CJ would do in this case as well.
on what legal basis does benazir live in UK, USA and UAE?
is she a permanenent resident of any of these countries?
I dont think she's a citizen in any of those countries. From what I know, she has visitor visas for the US, and same goes for the UK and UAE. In the UAE, she may have another arrangement with the government though, because apparently they take care of her security etc - and she may have some kind of temporary residency or something along those lines with the UAE, since all her kids go to school there and have been settled in the country since the late 90's.
