I was in the living room, randomly browsing facebook when my housemate came running down the stairs and said did you hear about Benazir? We called up Sky right then and got a Geo subscription to watch the news.
I was leaving for my office when I saw her giving speech at the Liaquat Bagh podium. Standing there with remote control in my hands, I thought these leaders would continue to befool people indefinitely. I also wished she meant what she was saying this time around. I turned the TV and lights off, locked my flat and left for my office. But when I reached my office, I saw from the lobby my colleagues mobbing the TV. And once I stepped into the office, she was gone.
It was a terrible experience. May her soul rest in peace, provided Zardari let it happen.
I was in Lahore at my house when she was delivering her speech, I saw her leaving the Liaqat Bagh podium. Before leaving my house I saw a ticker flashing that there was a blast as she was leaving but she was safe and had gone from the scene. When I reached Moon market, which was about 3 kms away people were saying that Benazir had been killed, I couldnt believe my self. I used my mobile to find the latest news and I found out that she was injured and taken to hospital, the fears proved to be true and for the next few days fear surrounded Lahore after the murder.
I was at home in Karachi, was shocked to learn city was in flames just few minutes after the news then we started to call our relatives who we knew were out in the markets to come home immediately. Some managed to be hidden for hours, some fled on foot leaving their cars behind, those were horrible 3 days probably worst 3 days I've seen. It seemed like I was really living in a jungle city where there was no police, rangers or army.
I was in Pindi in airport society at a open place. I heard the blast and said the people there that this is not a good voice. After few minutes later I reached home and saw the of attack on B.B.
Wanted to add more I reached at the place near midnight crossing burning tires and other obstacle but only two or three persons were there and a candle.
I saw many vehicles outside PAF gate of airport waiting for arrival of the Zardari.
I was home enjoying the holidays...remember jumping up and down in jubilation...best news to come out of Pakistan since the hanging of another traitor three decades earlier....
I woke up and came down to make myself a breakfast, i saw my dad watching the news, he looked as if something serious happened, but my dad ALWAYS watches news and i find news boring so i wasn't really bothered. As i opened the door to kitchen, he called me and told me what has happened. I didn't knew who Benazi Bhutto was, so i asked my dad and he explained to me, but what really shocked me was the gunshot and suicide attack.

as much as I hated her I never wished death on her, that's just wrong.

I didnt like her too, but I did feel sad on her killing...
Dushman Maray Tay Khushi Na Kariye Sajna Wi Mar Jana
i was making fun of her statue at madame tusades in london, putting on a mustache etc. then we walked out and there was a guy slapping newspapers on the ground for the evening edition and it had her picture sprayed all over it...and i was like lol what a co incidence.
I didn't feel much, nor did I particularly care. She was a corrupt politician like her pops, and her friends nawaz brotheran and altaaf mian. I was actually kind of happy. I just hope nawaz faces a same fate.
