Anyone knows which is the best place to shop for bridal gowns in Karachi? I’m not from Pakistan so I dont know the places there much. Can someone help me plzzzz. I would like to know the approximate price for the gowns as well.
I heard that if a foreigner buys something in Pakistan, the shop owner will charge more than the usual price. Is that true? Please provide me with as much details as possible. Thanks!

shakeels is a really good place... a little expensive... its on tariq road
if u go to zam zama u will find lots of good designers but some are wayy too expensive

Rhim Jhim in Clifton is actually pretty nice for wedding outfits - very beautiful clothes - a bit pricy, but hey, less headache - just pick up the outfit and go.
Exclusive has a bridal's collection - also nice and economic.
Hilal Silk Palace for any of your Banarsi and Jamawaar needs - they're in Defense, probably somewhere near Zamzama.
The Designers is great - a group of designers under one roof - unique stuff - but very very pricy.

Rhim Jhim has some beautiful stuff......my in-laws got my valima jora from there. It was gorgeous and they were very professional too. We were running on a really tight schedule, so my MIL only had two weeks to get something made, but Rhim Jhim had everything ready on time. The also have ready-made joras/bridals which are awesome too.
