There is a lot going on in Switzerland these days Geneva festival is in first week of Aug. Locarno film festival and other places are also having a lot of things, If you are looking for Sun then south of france or spain is the best.

if its not too late, you should check out the airline Ryanair, they offer incredibly cheap flights to places in europe, at the moment theyve got a special offer on of £5 a seat lol. hope you have/had a great time :)
