As far as I’m aware in UK - on the NHS heath system which like all UK residents have, we don’t have option of public hospital doing circumcision unless it was for a medical reason. Therefore, all our treatment is free but for medical reasons only. So what happens is that you find someone to do circumcision by private healthcare who are usually doctors (local practice ones) or surgeons.

How does it work in US?

Any Obgyn on call can do it. You don’t have to take your kiddo anywhere. They do it the next day where you delivered. Nothing extra, just sign a form and its all taken care of.
