^I’m not sure if this will help at all, but there are a few private sellers of cards on Karachi Snob. They probably do blingy wedding invites like these, so maybe you should give them a call to ask? Here’s the link:

i visited Mahj Designs in Karachi, she can make exactly that for you since that’s her specialty!
the girl’s name in Mahjabeen, and she was very helpful,

i got the simple ones made, which is like a folder with jamewaar fabric on it, a ribbon in the front going across and a brooch in the middle of the ribbon, and the inside cards i’m printing myself, so shes making the folder for me basically,

this is sort of the design i got, the colours and designs she has are alot better, she said she stopped putting up pictures online because people started copying her work, i highly recommend you make an appointment and visit her to see for yourself,

she’s charging 350 ruppees a card for an order of 150-300 cards, the more cards you order the better rate she gives you, how many cards will you need?

btw her finishing is impeccable, i went to some stores in Pakistan Chowk and tried to get them to make something like this but their edges were all tatty and they didnt understand what i was trying to get, her work is really professional and she’s extremely helpful!

you can try some stores in Pakistan Chowk, there's a general thread abt where to get cards from in Karachi with some names of stores there,

Take a picture with you though, it's hard to explain to them because they prefer you choose an existing card than make something new (that's the impression i got anyways!)

also the finishing might not be great because from what I saw most of them specialize in paper invites, this fabric stuff gets technical for them.. (again I could be wrong, I visited like 5 stores there, there are many)

i contacted Mahj and got quoted for 2400 per invite with only one insert.....now im not a professional negotiator but im almost certain that you cant negotiate from 2400 to 300...that just doesnt make sense

idk if i want to spend that big of a fortune on invites when that money can go towards something better

i am very disappointed...really have my heart set on the box type invites

anyone know any other similar CHEAPER designers?

2400 per invite is insane!!!! You or she must be mistaken. Which one did u ask for? The jamawar one with the insert inside and a brooch?

I contacted her too few days ago.. she quoted me 340 something for over 100 invites.. and 380 something for 60. I'm getting them from her :)
